Trail Etiquette
Although we are racing, the PRIORITY is to maintain trail access
YIELD TO EVERYONE; hikers, bikers, horses & dogs get the right of way
(If you encounter traffic, respectfully get off the trail until safe to continue)
Be alert around corners
Traffic is part of racing on public trails
(Consider riding busier trails on weekdays or during off-peak hours)

Be Respectful to Others
Represent the Onewheel community with pride. Make positive decisions when interacting with the public and law enforcement. Spread the stoke—smile and say hello—and always respect the environment and wildlife
Do Not Block Trail
During breaks, move yourself, your personal items, and your Onewheel off the trail so others can pass safely.
Do Not Litter
Pack out all trash and help pick up after others to keep the trails clean.
Leave No Trace
If you accidentally peel out or leave behind a dug-out area, fill it in as best as you can.
Ride Dirt, Not Mud
Avoid riding on muddy trails to help maintain trail integrity and reduce damage.
Falls
If you fall or cause someone to slow down, consider it a practice session—restart safely when you’re ready.
Stops
Do not stop in a way that obstructs the trail or makes you invisible from above. Always remain visible to others.
Know the Trail
Familiarize yourself with the route before racing.
Directional Trails
Always make sure you are riding in the correct direction on directional trails.
Racing During Busy Times
When trails are busy, ride with a partner or group so that spotters can monitor traffic and ensure everyone’s safety.
Be courteous to other riders
Only pass when it is safe to do so. Respect the space and pace of those around you.
Stay On the Trail
Stick to designated trails. Riding off-trail can damage the environment and create hazards.
Contact if any Problems
The community is always watching. If you encounter an issue on the trail, post it in the Facebook group or contact a local Ambassador as soon as possible. Note that if an etiquette violation is reported without prior knowledge, the rider(s) may be disqualified for that day or banned permanently.
Volunteer
Consider volunteering to maintain, repair, and support our local trails. Your help keeps our community strong and our trails in top condition.
