Trail Access

For navigation, it’s recommended to utilize Strava’s map, as it has the most accurate trail layout. Directly northeast of the lot is an entry trail that heads east and brings you to the start of two of the three segments. Taking either segment will drop you into a central connecting area, where you can either loop the final segment, explore other trails, or turn around and take either of the first two segments back up to the top. Use the attached map and Strava’s map for reference.

Weather

Most of the trail dries out fairly quickly, though recommend giving at least a day or two after rainfall. If exploring, you may encounter sections along the river that tend to be a bit muddier after rain, but the segments hold up fairly well.

Crowds

Low. Coming earlier in the day on weekdays is best, but traffic is rarely an issue here. However, trails are both multi-use and bidirectional, so keep alert to hikers, oncoming bikes, and faster bikes from behind. Yield to others.

Power

An outlet is available in a nearby lot you pass on the way to the trailhead lot. Follow the street back and it’s the first lot on the right, with a porta potty and a shelter where you can find the outlet. (39.04023, -84.73282)
