Floatucky Trail Derby Finals is the culmination of the entire season. A weekend celebrating Kentucky trail riding, handmade trophies, friendly competition, and the Floatucky community.
Finals Weekend Schedule
Early Arrivals
Some riders and families will begin arriving in the area. There is no required official activity scheduled for Thursday.
Finals Course Selection
Finalists collectively review the trail system and decide which trail segments will make up the official Finals course.
Official Practice Day
Finalists learn the completed course, test lines, and prepare for race day. Additional weekend details and meeting times will be announced closer to Finals.
Race Day and Awards
Qualifying takes place in the morning, followed by head-to-head racing in the afternoon and the 2026 awards ceremony.

Livingston County Trail System
The 2026 Finals will be held at the Livingston County Trail System near Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
The trail system gives Finals a fresh setting with a layout that is friendly for Onewheel trail riding and easier for friends, family, and spectators to experience.
Livingston County Trail System has granted Floatucky Trail Derby a special event exception for Finals weekend. We are grateful to the trail stewards, property owner, and county officials for helping make the event possible.

The Livingston County Trail System features multiple trail loops and connectors. The official Finals course will be selected from the available trail network during Finals weekend.

A Special Opportunity
Floatucky Trail Derby is grateful to the Livingston County Trail System trail stewards, property owner, and county officials for welcoming the 2026 Finals.
The trail system is a community resource maintained through the work of local volunteers. Riders, spectators, friends, and family are expected to respect the property, follow all posted rules, and cooperate with steward guidance throughout Finals weekend.

- Stay on designated trails and approved event areas
- Pack out all trash and personal belongings
- Follow trail steward and event staff instructions
- Do not ride closed trails or restricted areas
- Help us leave the property better than we found it
Lodging & Camping
Motel 6 Grand Rivers
The closest hotel option, located directly at the Finals property. This is the most convenient choice for staying near the trail system.
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park
The premium lodging option for Finals weekend. Stay in lodge rooms or cottages, cool off in the outdoor pool, enjoy Harbor Lights Restaurant, and take in scenic views of Kentucky Lake. All about 10 minutes from the trail system.
Tween the Lakes Campground
The on-site RV camping option for Finals weekend. This provides easy access to the trail system without needing to drive to the venue each day.
Kentucky Dam Village Campground
The nearby tent-camping option at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, approximately ten minutes from the Finals location.

Finalists
Qualified riders compete on the official Finals course during Sunday’s qualifying and head-to-head rounds.
Friends and Family
Friends, family, and supporters are encouraged to join the weekend and cheer on the finalists.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome. Final viewing areas and Sunday timing will be shared when the course and schedule are finalized.

Season Participation
Riders qualify through the official 2026 Floatucky Trail Derby season and the qualification requirements established for their division.

How Finals Works
The Finals Course
The Finals course is not selected months in advance. Finalists work together on Friday to choose the trail segments that make up the official race course.
Sunday Racing
- Morning qualifying determines seeding.
- Riders advance into the appropriate head-to-head brackets.
- Afternoon racing determines the division finalists.
- Awards follow the completion of racing.
2026 Finals Trophies
Men’s Division
Floatucky’s Men’s Champion receives the traditional laser-engraved bourbon barrel lid trophy that has become a Finals tradition.
2nd and 3rd place racers receive hand-finished bourbon barrel lid podium trophies featuring custom Floatucky stenciling.
Women’s Division
Women’s Division podium finishers receive custom bourbon barrel-shaped keepsake containers inspired by Kentucky’s bourbon heritage.
Designed to be both functional and display-worthy, they can hold flowers, memorabilia, or take a permanent spot on the trophy shelf.
Clydesdale Division
The Clydesdale Champion earns a custom welded Floatucky horseshoe trophy inspired by Kentucky’s equestrian traditions.
2nd and 3rd place racers receive handcrafted wooden podium trophies featuring genuine horseshoes.
Legends Division
The Legends Division Champion receives a custom bourbon bottle trophy filled with a taste of Kentucky’s finest.
A one-of-a-kind Kentucky-inspired award created specifically for the division champion.
Grom Division
The Grom Division Champion receives a pre-charred, fillable miniature bourbon barrel with custom Floatucky laser engraving.
A custom keepsake celebrating the next generation of Floatucky racers.

Rookie of the Year
Recognizes a first-year Floatucky racer who made an immediate impact through participation, progression, attitude, and commitment to the season.
Additional Recognition
Additional awards and Floatucky award pins may recognize memorable performances, milestones, sportsmanship, community involvement, and contributions made throughout the season.
